The Perka Model 4600 frame is one of our most economical frame designs but can only be used on widths of 46′ – 64′, with snow loads no greater than 57# Ground Snow (typical). Much like the Model 4000 the open web truss tapered leg design allows us to save on steel required to make them meet codes… especially as compared to a standard I-Beam Leg. The scissor cut type truss/roof rafter gives you plenty of head room as well as a great space for putting through conduit. It also allows you to put in a higher opening for a door than the eave height!

The M4600 side wall height is measured to the top of the frame’s eave (not the purlin or sheeting) and has a typical pitch of 3:12 or more.

This is a “special frame” that takes full advantage of fabricating single angle cords for the frames without the bowing that can happen on long single angle weld assemblies! By making the rafter in two per side pieces – we can overcome this side effect and can still offer you a High Quality, EASY to assemble frame. Needless to say *beware of “lower priced” frames in this width or larger that are single angle designed…
